Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Telephony Engineer with strong experience in Avaya systems and Unified Communications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting enterprise voice and telecom solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support telephony systems (Avaya Call Manager, System Manager, Voicemail)
- Administer Avaya PBX and Unified Communications environment
- Work with AWS Connect for cloud telephony setup and support
- Manage call flows, vectors, and voice configurations
- Support adds, moves, and changes (MACD) for telecom systems
- Troubleshoot voice/network issues and maintain system uptime
- Work with NICE Uptivity (call recording) and TASKE reporting
- Collaborate with teams to support telecom infrastructure and integrations
- Maintain documentation and perform system audits
Required Skills:
- Experience in Telephony Systems Configuration
- Strong knowledge of Avaya (Call Manager, System Manager, PBX)
- Experience with NICE Uptivity and TASKE Reporting
- Hands-on experience with AWS Connect
- Knowledge of Cisco Voice/Video Technologies
- Understanding of telecom network design (voice/data circuits)
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and telecom architecture
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Experience:
- 8+ years in Telephony / Unified Communications / Telecom Engineering
