Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with technical program management.
- Experience delivering software and hardware projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Systems.
- Experience as a program manager.
- Experience in leading and influencing large teams, including executives (Sr. Director/VP level).
- Ability to navigate ambiguous situations, establish structure, and lead programs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
About the job
In this role, you will lead the foundational software layers that bridge the gap between hardware and software. You will be required to plan and execute against the lower-level system software stack and work with various Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners to deliver performant solutions in an ambitious timeframe. - Manage the intricate dependencies of system services to ensure our devices work efficiently with a focus on Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL), Board Support Package (BSP), and Bootloader (BL) in partnership with OEMs.
- Drive planning, execution, and program schedules; identify risks, manage dependencies, and communicate status.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, build alliances, and advocate for program needs across different organizations and OEMs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, UX Design, Research, and Operations to deliver high-quality XR products and services.
- Lead triage with Tech Leads on incoming issues for your focus areas.
