If you’re the type of leader who doesn’t just keep machines running—but makes them run better, faster, and smarter this is where you step in.
We’re looking for a
hands-on Technical Manager to lead a high-performing team and take ownership of tooling, molding operations, and process optimization. This is a visible leadership role where you’ll directly influence production performance, equipment strategy, and long-term operational efficiency.
Why This Role Stands Out
Lead a team of 15–17 technicians and operators with real influence
Own the tool room, molds, and machine performance end-to-end
Drive process improvements and innovation, not just maintenance
Partner directly with operations, product, and leadership teams
Relocation support available for the right candidate
What You’ll Do
Lead & Develop Talent
Mentor, train, and elevate a team of technicians and machine operators while building a strong, accountable culture.
Own Technical Operations
Oversee tooling, molds, machines, and troubleshooting across blow molding and injection molding processes.
Drive Performance & Efficiency
Establish KPIs, monitor results, and implement improvements that reduce downtime and improve output.
Partner Cross-Functionally
Work closely with operations, product management, and customer-facing teams to align technical execution with business goals.
Lead Strategy & Innovation
Develop and execute technical roadmaps that improve capabilities, scalability, and overall plant performance.
Manage Risk
Identify operational risks early and implement practical, effective mitigation strategies.
What You Bring
5+ years of plastics manufacturing experience (blow molding + injection molding)
Leadership experience (2+ years) managing technical teams
Strong expertise in tooling, mold repair, and machine maintenance
Experience with equipment such as Aoki, Uniloy, Sumitomo
Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and change management
Strong communication skills—you can translate technical issues into business impact
What We’re Looking For
A problem-solver who doesn’t wait for issues—anticipates them
A builder of people and processes, not just a maintainer
Someone who understands both the technical detail and the business impact
A leader who can walk the floor and sit at the strategy table
Background
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field (preferred)
Equivalent hands-on experience will absolutely be considered
Bottom Line
This is not a “keep things running” role.
This is a build it better, scale it smarter, and lead from the front opportunity.
If you’re ready to take ownership of a technical operation and make a measurable impact, this is where you do it.
