POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrates an understanding of all procedures performed, a thorough understanding of all work processes and safety issues in specific assigned area, and possesses excellent customer service initiatives. Recognizes patients physical limitation and provides appropriate support to assure patients safety. Helps to expedite patients procedures by assisting the radiology technologist in any area of the radiology department. Promotes the University Health Systems Guest Relations Program. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent experience required. Six months experience as a nursing attendant, patient transporter or other related health care experience preferred. Experience in a radiology working environment is preferred, with knowledge of safety issues. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification is required.
