Position Summary
The Supervisor of Production Planning is responsible for overseeing production planning, scheduling, and material management for a specific manufacturing location within Architectural Metals. This role ensures the efficient coordination of resources to meet customer demands, production capacity, and inventory goals while aligning with Metals-wide processes and strategies. The position reports to the Manager, Production Planning, and works collaboratively with other supervisors across various locations to drive consistency and excellence in production planning operations.

Experience & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or related roles in a manufacturing environment.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
Required Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
