Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Manager II, the Supervisor II plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Business Services Unit. The incumbent is responsible for supervising professional and support staff engaged in facility operations, property management, space planning, employee relocations, training and workforce development, business services operations, and special administrative projects. This position ensures efficient, safe, and effective utilization of organizational resources while supporting agency-wide operational objectives.

Working Conditions

Hybrid telework schedules are available. The amount of telework is at CalHFA's discretion and is based on operational needs. IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE WILL BE REQUIRED WEEKLY.

Our office is in 500 Capitol Mall, a high-rise building conveniently located in downtown Sacramento with access to public transportation (light rail and bus) and freeways (I-5, 99, and Business 80). It is one block from Downtown Commons (DOCO), the Golden 1 Center, and many restaurants. Employees also have free access to the gym located in the building.

Candidates who are new to state service will be placed at the minumum of the salary range.

BE REINSTATEMENT ELIGIBLE:

Have obtained previous permanent employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable.

Minimum Qualifications

Supervisor II

Four years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, or customer service duties. Academic education from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis

AND

An additional three years of professional analytical and/or technical experience, two years of which must be equivalent to an Analyst II or higher.
