Description: Substitute Nurse needed for per diem in grades pre-kindergarten to grade 6. Job Summary:
Duties include taking care of students routine office visits for illness and injury, daily medication passes, breathing assessment and administration of inhalers, diabetic care for hypo/hyperglycemia as well as insulin administration, etc. These are examples and should not be construed as an exhaustive list of care requirements.
Qualifications: • RN License • CPR/BLS certifications • Previous experience preferred but not necessary
Working Conditions: Nurses are assigned seven and a half hours and substitute nurses should plan to arrive prior to the start of the school day to review the sub binder for daily requirements related to student care.
