The Substitute/Substitute Aide (Non-Instructional) position involves assisting certified staff in supporting students to meet educational goals under supervision.
Essential duties include working with students individually or in small groups, aiding in data collection and progress recording, implementing behavior plans, reinforcing instructional materials, and supporting classroom activities.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring students outside the classroom and assisting staff as needed, all while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safety procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, possibly 60 college credits, and a substitute certificate preferred. Experience with special needs children is desirable.
