Minimum qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience programming in C Go or Python.
5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure distributed systems or networks or experience with compute technologies storage or hardware architecture.
3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications
Masters degree or PhD in Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field.
8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in a complex matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
Experience with Security.

Regional Isolation aims to reduce the blast radius of securitycontrol plane compromise via any combination of logical or physical attacks by guarding against propagation of compromise from one security region to another. Our mission is to eliminate global-by-default authorization patterns at Google and provide controls for new authorization patterns in a centralized safe and easy way. The team designs develops and deploys fundamental security infrastructure primitives and APIs for authenticating the physical origin of a connection. Furthermore we provide insights and tooling to help us gauge our adoption risks and success metrics.
