The Technical Writing Specialist will join the Technical Publications team, producing high-quality technical documentation such as flight and maintenance manuals for military and commercial projects.
Responsibilities include authoring Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), interpreting engineering drawings, conducting interviews with engineering staff, and ensuring documentation meets MIL standards.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with four years of experience or equivalent, experience with structured authoring environments like FrameMaker, and the ability to obtain a Secret DoD Clearance. Prior knowledge of aircraft systems, mission system architecture, and familiarity with standards like S1000D is preferred.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to meet schedule and budget requirements. The role is on-site in Greenville, TX, with a 1st shift 9/80 schedule.
