This role involves teaching and managing a separate classroom for students with individualized needs, based on IEP goals, within a highly supported setting. The curriculum aligns with Massachusetts Frameworks, focusing on foundational skills, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration among staff, service providers, and families. The teacher provides standards-based instruction while supporting social, motor, and communication development, including facilitated inclusion. Responsibilities include supervising paraprofessionals and service providers, with a strong focus on student transition and post-secondary preparation.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree preferred
• Massachusetts Severe Disabilities license preferred
• Three years of relevant teaching experience preferred
• Experience with Alt MCAS is a plus

Compensation:

• $160/day for long-term substitute without license
• $180/day with license (not exceeding 950 characters)
