Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Thompson First Group is seeking Assemblers for contract to hire positions with a local client in Cinnaminson, NJ.

Candidates that have a background working with at least 1 year experience working in shipping and receiving are encouraged to apply. 

Responsibilities:

• Accident prevention – actively identify, correct and/or report safety hazards to prevent accidents.
• Maximize inventory skills.
• Must have previous factory/manufacturing environment experience.
• Actively identify and pursue cost reduction and efficiency/profit improvement opportunities.
• Support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and the company Quality Policy calling for self- inspection of your work product.
• Good driving record, willing to drive pickup truck and large box truck to pick up parts and deliver parts.
• Drive a warehouse forklift.
• Company courier to distribute received items.
• Packaging of outgoing shipments.
• Assist with stocking of central supplies.
• Assist the Facilities’ group with services (gases, equipment, repairs, and general activities within
• Operations as needed and determined by Facilities Manager.
• Lifting production objects of up to 50lbs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
