This role will be integral to delivering NYCDEP and agency-driven work involving deep underground utilities, treatment systems, and critical civil infrastructure in highly constrained urban environments.

Project Engineering & Coordination
Support Project Manager and Superintendent in day-to-day project execution
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and agency representatives (NYCDEP, NYCDDC, etc.)
Technical & Documentation Management
Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications for constructability and scope alignment
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Field & Construction Support
Coordinate with field operations for utility installation, structural concrete, and pump station systems
Support MEP and process system coordination, including pumps, piping, and controls
Scheduling & Cost Tracking
Assist with scheduling (CPM), look-aheads, and production tracking
Track quantities, costs, and productivity for underground and treatment work
Compliance & Standards
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
Experience
5+ years of heavy civil experience with a focus on water/wastewater
Experience with NYCDEP or similar agency work
Technical Knowledge
Knowledge of pump stations, force mains, large-diameter sewers, and/or treatment systems
Familiarity with submittals, RFIs, and project controls
Skills
Strong communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office
Work performed in both office and field environments on active construction sites
Have strong coordination and communication skills
Are detail-oriented and accountable in your work
Have experience supporting complex infrastructure projects
