Holland America Group is currently searching for a highly motivated Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, who will support Finance and Senior Management by interpreting financial information, identifying and highlighting trends in financial performance, conducting financial analysis and making recommendations to support processes and profit improvement. This position will support all HA Group brands and have significant interaction with our Carnival Corporate partners and reports to the Vice President, Finance.

Responsibilities:
Review, analyze, and assist in the preparation of the annual strategic long term and operating plans. Prepare Group presentations and perform extensive financial modeling. Drive, coordinate and manage alignment between all Holland America Group brands in the end to end planning process.

•Support operations in development of yearly strategic and operational plans. Model financial impact of initiatives in strategic and operating plans. Engage and communicate with all levels of management and cross functional teams (including Brand Presidents and Executive Management) in coordination of the plan presentations. This includes alignment across brands ensuring consistency utilizing templates to obtain data.
•Establish & manage the planning calendar
•Manage Operating and Strategic plan deliverables
•Prepare board reports and MD&A documents
•Build and maintain relationships with operational departments and with other Finance departments
•Drive communication and meetings with internal and external departments, including our corporate office, for timely issue identification, resolution and communication to management.
•Prepare materials for Monthly Risks and Opportunities meeting with Brand President and other Executives
•Provide information, support and analysis on ad-hoc inquiries to meet departmental objectives.
•Continuous critical review and evaluation of departmental processes in an effort to streamline and automate, and make more efficient, the plan process.
•Embrace, promote, and develop a strong sense of teamwork, contribution and learning within the department. Encourage team members to set and pursue development initiatives which effectively utilize their potential.
•Establish and maintain adequate and proper internal accounting controls in coordination with HA Group Accounting and provide training and guidance to staff on budgeting and accounting.
•Actively influence business decisions by effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis and modeling, and presentation of options and alternatives
•Perform special projects as required.

Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree
•MBA and/or CMA preferred
•Ten plus years of finance/accounting experience with five years of progressively responsible managerial experience.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Experience evaluating and improving financial processes.
•Advanced Financial Modeling and Excel skills.
•Prior experience managing a team of people.
•Must have strong analytical and spreadsheet utilization skills.
•Ability to prepare and present financial analysis to a non-finance audience.
•Ability to develop, communicate, and facilitate budget and forecast processes.
•Able to work with and solicit cooperation from individuals in a variety of roles.
