Location: Fully Remote - Must work Pacific Time business hours
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly or salaried rate based on experience

Role Summary
The Senior Accountant will provide immediate support for core accounting activities with a primary focus on journal entries and close execution. This role is hands-on and execution driven, supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
In this position, you will take ownership of journal entries and close-related tasks while working closely with leadership to clarify priorities and deliver results quickly. Success in this role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, independence, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries with speed and accuracy
Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
Manage accruals, deferrals, reclasses, and recurring entries
Ensure journal entries are properly supported and documented
Communicate proactively to clarify requirements and timelines
Maintain accuracy while working under close deadlines
Operate independently with minimal oversight
Key Requirements
Senior-level accounting experience with strong exposure to month-end and quarter-end close
Proven ability to prepare and post journal entries independently
Strong understanding of accruals, deferrals, reclasses, and recurring entries
Highly self-directed with the ability to manage workload without hand holding
Fast, accurate, and execution focused work style
Willingness to ask thoughtful, clarifying questions and drive conversations
Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
Experience using NetSuite
Experience processing a high volume of journal entries during close cycles
