The Seasonal Worker provides prompt, courteous guest service, maintaining merchandise and supporting store goals.
Responsibilities include ringing sales, handling money orders and lottery transactions, and accurately managing price overrides, returns, and waste.
They ensure shelves, coolers, displays, and high-margin products are stocked and clean, while using suggestive selling and membership prompts to enhance sales.
Maintains cleanliness of windows, floors, counters, gas pumps, and restrooms, and reports safety or maintenance issues to management.
Practices safe work habits, follows company policies, and complies with all applicable laws regarding alcohol and tobacco.
Properly records hours worked and uses equipment correctly.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, strong guest service and interpersonal skills, ability to perform basic math, and physical ability to perform tasks like climbing ladders.
