The Seasonal Summer Lifeguard maintains safe swimming conditions and promotes a positive, engaging environment.

• Provides continuous surveillance of the pool and aquatic areas, enforcing safety rules and performing equipment checks.
• Responds swiftly to emergencies, completes reports, and monitors hazards to ensure safety compliance.
• Builds positive relationships with members and staff, upholding core values of trustworthiness, respect, honesty, and responsibility.
• Performs physical tasks such as swimming, rescues, CPR, and emergency procedures, demonstrating physical fitness and alertness.
• Attends trainings, adheres to policies, and contributes to safety improvements.
• Minimum age 18, with current lifeguarding and first aid certifications, and 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• This is a seasonal position at various locations, requiring decision-making, emotional maturity, and community focus.
