Job Description
Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, including those undergoing scheduled procedures such as C-sections, external cephalic versions, and triage evaluations. Manage admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op care, and deliveries (vaginal and C-section). Care for patients from 17 weeks gestation through postpartum needs. Utilize fetal monitors and perform documentation using Cerner and Fetalink systems. Must live at least 50 miles from the facility.
Certification Required
BLS
ACLS
NRP
AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring
Active Registered Nurse license (state/district)
Skills Required
Minimum 2 years L&D experience
Proficiency with Cerner
Strong fetal monitoring skills
Ability to manage laboring patients and obstetric emergencies
Experience with triage, pre-op, and postpartum workflows
