What You Bring to the Table:
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) with ability to recertify
  • Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past two years
  • Experience in large hospitals or trauma centers; hospital size and trauma experience preferred
  • Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records system is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
  • Sound professional record with no suspensions, investigations, or liability claims
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment health screening, drug tests, and criminal background checks

Additional Skills That Will Set You Apart:
  • Prior utilization review or clinical documentation improvement experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory standards
  • Ability to handle complex cases with critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
  • 2+ years of recent acute care nursing experience, particularly in hospital or trauma center settings

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work an 8-hour day shift on days
  • No travel required but willingness to stay updated with industry standards and certifications
  • Commitment to maintaining current licensure and certifications
