Responsibilities:
As an Outfitter, you are the heart and sole (pun intended!) of the Fleet Feet experience. Your mission is to deliver exceptional service while recommending gear and products that help customers achieve their goals—no matter what their finish line looks like.
You'll be part of a dynamic, high-energy team that values relationships and thrives on making a difference in the lives of others. By listening closely, learning proactively, and offering personalized solutions, you’ll play a key role in building lifelong customers and creating an unforgettable in-store experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide an outstanding customer experience through personalized service and attention
Build meaningful connections with customers, vendors, and teammates
Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate gear, products, and training programs
Support all store initiatives, events, and community outreach efforts
Maintain product knowledge to educate and inform customers
Stay adaptable and ready to go above and beyond as needed
Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals
Uphold Fleet Feet’s core values and commitment to putting people first
Qualifications:
Must be available to work 35-40 hours per week
Available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Prior experience in a customer-facing retail or sales environment is preferred
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others
Strong communication skills with a positive and professional demeanor
Adaptable, accountable, and proactive in learning and decision-making
Team player with a collaborative and customer-centric mindset
Willingness to go the extra mile for customers and fellow team members
Commitment to doing the right thing—even when no one’s watching
Able to lift up to 40lbs
Long periods of standing
Able to bend/ stoop to tie shoes
Shifts up to 8 hours with no set break schedule
Able to reach above shoulder height, climb small 4ft ladders
