This Research Assistant Professor position is a non-tenure track role with potential for future transition to tenure track.
It requires serving as the lead quantitative scientist and modeler in infectious disease research, integrating epidemiology, immunology, and data science through advanced statistical and computational methods.
The candidate will collaborate with internal and external investigators, develop an independent research agenda, and mentor graduate students and junior researchers in quantitative methods.
The role involves publishing 3-5 peer-reviewed manuscripts annually, primarily as first or senior author, and contributing to grant applications, with growth toward leading extramural funding.
Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in a quantitative field with at least 3 years of postdoctoral experience and evidence of research productivity.
Preferred candidates will have teaching and mentoring experience, with 4-5 years of postdoctoral work preferred.
