IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment. Please only submit candidates that are okay with these requirements.
*** Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, unlthen the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract

Certification Requirements: BCLS Skillset Preferences: Telemetry, and IV Start Skillset Requirements: Minimum 2 Year Experience Locals: Not accepted Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6 If candidates have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package then they are eligible to apply Unit Information: Cardiovascular surgical, peripheral vascular surgical, arrhythmias, endocarditis, CHF exacerbation and overflow at times.
Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). **Periop/OR RN s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule.
