Traveler Pay:
- $70–$74/hour ($2,625 – $2,775 weekly) based on experience
Local Pay:
- $55–$60/hour ($2,062 – $2,250 weekly) based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutrition assessment, education, and medical nutrition therapy services within a clinical healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized nutrition care plans and support optimal patient health outcomes through evidence-based nutritional interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients and clients
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans
- Provide medical nutrition therapy based on clinical conditions and evidence-based guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients, families, and staff regarding therapeutic diets, nutrition principles, and healthy lifestyle practices
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Participate in menu planning, quality improvement initiatives, and nutrition-related policy development
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor patient food intake, tolerance, and adherence to prescribed dietary plans
- Support implementation and follow-through of nutrition care plans within the clinical environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field required
- Completion of an accredited dietetic internship required
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required
- State licensure required (CDN may be obtained after hire if applicable)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and interdisciplinary teams
