Position Summary:
Works under the direction of the Plant Quality Lead to execute and maintain quality processes and systems for the value streams.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the execution of the daily incoming and outgoing inspection activities.
- Assists with containment actions for nonconformances and internal and external calibration systems.
- Actively participates in Natural, Starpoint and Project High Performance Teams.
- Participates in the internal ISO audit onsite and supports the internal audit team
- Completes receiving, shipping and shop floor insections
- Follows required safety and environmental policies and procedures onsite.
- Samples Parts for incoming inspection, collecting data, interpreting results and communicating findings.
- Collaborates with internal customers and teams across the site to resolve quality issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Associates degree in an applied science, trade school degree or high school diploma with equivalent experience (minimum of 1 year in a quality or inspection role in a manufacturing environment)
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Working experience in an ISO environment preferred
Skills:
- Ability to organize, maintain and present information in order to make an informed decision or recall information later
- Working knowledge of part drawings and appropriate tools to measure features
- Expertise with inspection techniques, quality/statistical tools, instruments/equipment and general business operations.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and other documentation
- Computer skills including MS Office, email and ability to learn Parker business systems.
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean tools including Fishbone, 5Why, Kaizen etc.
- Ability to assess and recommend continuous improvement opportunities
- Ability to effectively work in a team oriented atmosphere to establish and maintain effective quality systems as well as taking appropriate corrective actions to continually improve.

Competitive Compensation
- Pay Range: $23.4/hr to $40.1/hr
- Participation in Annual Incentive Program
