Job Summary:
We are looking for a Puppet Developer to join our DevOps and Infrastructure team in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for automating system configurations, managing infrastructure as code, and supporting the deployment process using Puppet. You will work closely with DevOps engineers, system administrators, and developers to ensure reliable and scalable infrastructure.

Responsibilities
:Develop, test, and maintain Puppet modules and manifests for system configuration and automation.
Manage configuration of servers and infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.
Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
Troubleshoot Puppet-related issues and optimize performance of configuration scripts.
Write and maintain documentation related to configuration management and infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with security and operational standards in all automation workflows.
Collaborate with other developers and engineers on cross-functional projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2+ years of experience working with Puppet in a professional environment.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Ruby, Bash, or Python.
Experience with Linux system administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
Understanding of DevOps tools and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Puppet Enterprise.
Exposure to other infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Chef, or Terraform.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
