Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience building platforms or infrastructure consumed by multiple external or internal services.
  • Experience with the domain area of Generative AI or Large Language Models.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role with proven experience taking technical products from conception to launch (0 to 1).
  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in architecting high-performance, low-latency platforms for customer use.
  • Experience in using data-driven insights to define and track success metrics like efficiency and onboarding velocity.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.In this role, you will be a part of the team building Workspace Context, a unifying intelligence layer that seamlessly connects data across the entire Google Workspace suite. As a Product Manager for Core WorkSpace Context Quality, you will own the strategy, scoping, and outcomes for one of the most technically challenging and ambiguous domains within Google Workspace. You are not just executing on a roadmap but setting the agenda for the next-generation of Workspace Context, identifying the problems worth solving before others realize they are necessary.You will lead the transition from static prompt engineering to dynamic Context Engineering which involves architecting systems where Gemini doesn't just process a query but manages a complete set of token including system prompts, real-time activity, and memory to automate multi-step tasks across the entire Workspace ecosystem.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with partner teams (e.g., engineers, Program Managers, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn Product Requirements Document (PRDs) into Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for one or more teams.
  • Develop and secure buy-in for a product goal that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts. 
  • Examine all use cases for the "personalization" of Gemini at work and conduct rigorous analysis of quality losses, taking ownership of diagnosing why essential artifacts are missed.
  • Drive into the technical stack to solve complex quality losses.
