Plant Process Control Electrician positions install, maintain, troubleshoot, and modify complex motor control and electrical systems in water, wastewater, and storm water facilities. They design, program, and improve computerized control systems, analyze and repair electrical control equipment, and may lead or instruct other electricians.
Minimum requirements include one year of journey-level electrical experience with PLCs, or completion of a four-year apprenticeship, plus relevant industrial or water treatment experience. Some positions require licenses, certifications, or specific training such as confined space or fiber optics.
Employees must work overtime, weekends, or holidays, and pass medical, drug tests, and background checks. Candidates should submit necessary documentation and ensure all qualifications are met for screening and employment.
