Your Mission
Picture this: A line stops unexpectedly. You arrive, isolate the fault, restore operation, and document the fix—then adjust PM tasks to prevent a repeat. Later, you walk your area, spot early warning signs, and coordinate with your Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize work. Throughout, you keep tools organized, teammates informed, and safety at the forefront.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute repairs on diverse plant equipment and facilities with speed and professionalism.
- Troubleshoot defective equipment, identify causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Align daily activities with guidance from the Maintenance Supervisor for your shift.
- Conduct daily walk-through inspections within assigned zones.
- Perform both runtime and downtime preventive maintenance on designated assets.
- Log time and progress and close out tasks through the work order system.
- Assist in resolving production process issues when needed.
- Maintain clean, orderly work areas, including tools and toolbox.
- Provide timely verbal and written updates to supervision, operators, and staff on maintenance status.
- Build a strong team culture through collaboration and support.
- Operate with a safety-first approach, complying with LOTO, Arc Flash, Confined Space, and Environmental requirements.
- Respond quickly and courteously to internal and external customer requests.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate’s Degree in a maintenance or technical field (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
