Job Description:

We are recruiting for the role of a Physical Therapist. In this mission-oriented organization, our client's central objective is to enhance the well-being of patients by striving for low costs, high quality, and total transparency.

This position involves daily therapeutic intervention within the rehab environment and follows policies, guidelines, and procedures set by the establishment and in line with Medicare and Therapy Management Corporation standards.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensuring the accuracy and regular update of patient care records for all patients within their assigned caseload.

• Reporting billing information accurately to the Physical Therapy Director regarding patients within their assigned caseload.

• Providing direct patient care, including evaluation and treatment planning.

• Manual manipulation of patient body parts and limbs as necessary.

• Reporting and interpreting treatment results.

• Assisting in the development and presentation of informational sessions per request.

• Supervising immediate support staff as required.

• Performing clinical functions, including screenings and delivery of treatment.

• Participating in meetings related to patient care.

• Proactively undertaking community education and public relations activities when required.

• Providing patient’s family and staff education on the treatment plan and therapy goals.

• Overseeing coordination and cooperation with staff members regarding the execution of the treatment plan.

• Undertaking additional duties as needed.

Qualifications: 

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.

• Current certification with the American Physical Therapy Association.

• Licensed by the State for provision of therapy services in the designated geographical area.

• Ability to perform requisite tasks without posing hazards to health and safety.

• The capacity for a minimum assist transfer, implying the ability to lift and control 50 pounds.
