Personnel Technician

Under the direction of the Senior Executive Director or Assistant Director-Classified Personnel Services; this classification performs complex personnel and clerical duties in personnel recruitment, examination, selection and placement. The incumbent will prepare & maintain classified eligibility lists; prepare & maintain classified certification records and placement files. The classification also prepares a variety of personnel reports; provides information and assistance in person and on the telephone to District personnel and the public regarding classified personnel matters; and assists the Personnel Commission staff with other related duties as assigned.
