Debbie’s Staffing is recruiting for Packer Operator Associates for our client located in Kannapolis, NC!
Schedule: 6:00pm-6:30am on a 2,2,3 schedule.
Pay: $19.00/hr. Weekly Pay! Temp to Hire!
Essential Functions:
- Ensures all materials are correct based on the production schedule for all products being packaged.
- Monitors and inspects the flow of cases to identify and detect defective packaging.
- Operators must ensure the proper set- up of their equipment and processes.
- Achieve Quality metrics.
- Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment.
- Fills out required paperwork accurately.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Adhere to company Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs).
- Adheres to all health, food safety, HAACP, Allergen, sanitation standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices.
- Operators will be accountable for Safety, Quality, and Service in their area of responsibility.
- Uphold the Plant Vision and Code of Conduct.
- Other duties as assigned.
Successful Candidate Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 1 years’ experience with production equipment and processes preferred.
- Must have attention to detail, and work well with other departments and individuals.
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb steps, and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in cold/hot, wet and noisy conditions.
