Hours: 3:15pm to 11:45pm Monday through Friday
Pay: $19-23/hour based on experience
Summary:
Perform operations required to fill bags, containers, and pails etc. with materials to proper weight or measure. Glue, affix lids or otherwise close containers and attach labels when required. Handle and transport materials to designated areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with safety policies and procedures. In addition, comply with the 5S program on a daily basis.
Responsible for accurately weighing products according to specifications of work orders.
Operate, adjust and assist to maintain set-up of packaging machines to product packaged products.
Responsible for obtaining, applying and using correct labels on products.
May be required to select packaging from inventory in accordance with work order.
Responsible for applying correct lot numbers to pails, cartons, cases etc.
Responsible for placing bags, pails, cases etc. correctly on pallets.
Assists in training bulk filling general packagers on the line.
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment.
Adhere to all Quality Control requirements.
Ability to operate a forklift or obtain a Fork Truck Operator’s license.
Responsible for safely moving product from one location to another.
Qualification Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read and comprehend digital scale readings.
Basic computers skills necessary.
