Job Summary


As Nursing Program Manager RN, you'll have many responsibilities to ensure high patient care quality. You'll design and execute education programs and evaluate their effectiveness. Your tasks will involve creating course outlines, setting schedules and goals, managing rotation schedules, and developing orientation plans. Plans will focus on theoretical and practical aspects of the department's work.


Essential Functions of the Role


+ You will create, deploy, and evaluate our education initiatives for staff. Programs will ensure high standards for procedures, techniques, and patient care.

+ You will give feedback on performance and recommend dismissal from programs as needed in your role.

+ Your role involves coordinating employee assessment forms for tailored professional growth that is target and effective.

+ Upon requests from other Departments, you will prepare and deliver informative educational programs.

+ Building and sustaining mutually beneficial working relationships with diverse personnel and Sales Representatives will be part of your duties.

+ Participating in professional gatherings and serving on various committees will be part of your role.

+ You will provide support in formulating annual departmental goals and policies.

+ Assisting in the creation of the annual budget through in-depth needs examination will be a crucial aspect of your role.


Key Success Factors


+ A thorough understanding of nursing and patient care practices and standards will be vital for this role.

+ You should have knowledge of the relevant laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to healthcare.

+ Knowledge of medical terms and health values is needed. It is also important to understand illness prevention.

+ Knowledge of medical and professional nursing ethics and respect for patient privacy rights is a must.

+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are needed.

+ Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are paramount.

+ The agility to identify changes in the medical condition of patients is essential.

+ You will need the ability to create, evaluate, and revise patient care plans as necessary.

+ Basic computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical charting, and email.

+ A Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications


+ Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.

+ Possess at least two (2) years of relevant professional experience.

+ A Registered Nurse (RN) license is required for this role.
