Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Part Time - 60 hours per pay period
Position will work 12hr shifts
Includes Weekend and Holiday Rotations
Kossuth Regional Health Center is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, hands-on care to patients of all ages. This role supports nursing staff by assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patients, and contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct patient care under supervision of nursing staff
- Assist patients with daily living tasks and report any abnormal findings
- Perform basic clerical and receptionist duties
- Support infection control by maintaining clean equipment and patient areas
- Respond promptly to call lights and assist in emergencies
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and uphold HIPAA compliance
- Assist in the emergency room under RN supervision within the scope of CNA practices
What We're Looking For:
- Must meet State Nurse Aide Registry requirement and be capable of assuming responsibilities of the position
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Professional, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience preferred
