The pay range for this position is $92,600-$144,700 based on direct and relevant experience.
RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner for contrast coverage, you will be responsible for:
• Screening and preparing patients for their procedure • Administering and monitoring medications for patients in an outpatient setting • Participating in all aspects of patient care as indicated
This is a casual position working various day, evening, and weekend shifts at our Twin Cities centers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Patient Care • Explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding, and reduce apprehension • Screens patient prior to procedure for any precautions or contra-indications and for MRI safety • Reviews patient history and complete appropriate consent forms as needed • Administers prescribed medications and treatments, i.e. contrasts, in accordance with approved standards and regulations for care • Utilizes competent IV start skills • Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol • Participates in an efficient workflow to assist keeping CT and/or MRI on schedule • Assures proper documentation in the EMR system
• Administrative Duties • Complete all required administrative duties • Maintains clean and stocked work environment • Maintains stock in drug box • Performs related work as assigned
