We are seeking a Nurse Navigator to support our SAMG General Surgery Clinic! This RN position supports our

colorectal cancer, surgical oncology, and esophageal cancer providers and patients.

In this position, you will deliver the course of care and treatment as determined under the leadership of the Oncology Inter-Disciplinary Team (Oncologists, Specialists, Surgeons, Pathologists, Radiologists and Genetics) or other service line utilizing nurse navigation.

You will navigate the patient's care collaboratively across multiple disciplines, departments, and providers within the system to achieve seamless patient care. Including the assessment and provision of all psychosocial resources necessary to support the patient and their family.

It is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week. . The position offers many great learning opportunities.

General Requirements:

  • 2 years of RN experience required.

  • 3 years of experience in Oncology preferred.

  • Oncology Nurse Certification or certification for defined service line and/or tumor site optional.

Education:

  • An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE

License/Certification:

  • Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date.

  • Must provide licensure or proof of application in the State of Oregon within six months of starting

  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire
