Position Summary:
As our Nurse Manager Perioperative Services at Mercy Hospital, you’ll oversee ~60 surgical services staff and act as the conduit between these caregivers and leadership teams. You will communicate the organization’s goals to the staff as we constantly seek to improve patient experience and outcomes. At the same time, you will advocate for your team by bringing any issues, requests, or new ideas from them to leadership.
Mercy Hospital has 7 operating rooms, and on average we perform 250-300 surgeries per month. Our surgical specialties include; Neuro/Spine, Orthopedics, General, Robotics, GYN, Colorectal and Urology.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
+ RN in state of practice.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
+ Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and one (1) year of leadership experience.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing OR equivalent education and experience. Magnet Hospital: BSN required.
