Seeking a Network Engineer for a 12-month role in Baltimore, MD. The position involves configuring, implementing, managing, and maintaining Extreme data switch networks, including LLDP/EAP/DHCP, VMWare, and Checkpoint Firewalls.
Ideal candidates have 5-8 years of enterprise data networking experience with Extreme components, familiarity with Avaya Aura solutions, and proficiency in Linux and Windows OS. Prior government agency experience is a plus.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, certification as an Extreme Networks Engineer, knowledge of Checkpoint Firewalls and VMWare, and the ability to obtain Public Trust Level 1 clearance. Local candidates with excellent communication skills are preferred.
