Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
  • Certifications Requirements: ASCP certification preferred; alternatively, AMT certification accepted
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital laboratory settings, with Blood Bank and Microbiology experience required
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work evening shifts, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with LIS and EMR systems

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely laboratory testing in Blood Bank, Microbiology, Hematology, and Urinalysis using appropriate instrumentation
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment according to protocol to ensure optimal performance
  • Document test results, quality control data, and equipment maintenance activities thoroughly and accurately
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to interpret laboratory results and support patient diagnoses
  • Execute troubleshooting procedures for laboratory instruments and resolve technical issues efficiently
