Mechanical Test Technician / Lab Technician

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or technical certification preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in lab operations, testing, or manufacturing environment
• Previous testing experience is a plus
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and operate material handling equipment (electric pallet jack training provided)
• Strong attention to safety protocols and PPE requirements
• Ability to follow detailed test procedures and work under supervision
• Physical ability to perform hands-on tasks including setting up modules, moving laminates, and de-framing
• Basic computer skills to set up software programs for specific tests (guidance provided)
• Good organizational skills for managing lab operations and logistics
• Willingness to wear required PPE including safety shoes, rugged pants, and long sleeves

Responsibilities:

• Oversee mechanical load testing and run specific test procedures under supervision
• Set up modules for testing, de-frame modules, and move laminates within lab operations
• Manage shipments coming into the lab and provide general facility support
• Operate electric pallet jack for material handling (training provided)
• Set up software programs for specific tests following provided guidance (machine programming not required)
