This Meat Cutter role involves properly cutting, trimming, and preparing meats to meet quality and standard guidelines, contributing to store profitability.
Here's what you'll do:
- Cut and weigh meat portions, produce value-added products, and follow recipes for grinding and sausage making.
- Price, wrap, and display meat products, restock shelves, and notify managers of supplies needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and attractive department while practicing food safety and PPE guidelines.
- Assist in other departments as needed and support guest experience.
Here's what you'll need: - High school diploma or GED, with preferred retail or meat cutting experience.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math, with attention to detail.
Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and working in varied temperatures.
