A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to support inventory management, material movement, receiving, warehouse operations, and shipping activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment while playing a critical role in ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed.
What Youll Do
Coordinate the flow of materials between receiving, warehouse, production, and shipping departments.
Stage materials, kits, and components to support manufacturing and service operations.
Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming materials and inventory.
Support domestic and international shipping activities, including freight coordination and shipment scheduling.
Prepare shipping documentation, packing slips, bills of lading, labels, and related paperwork.
Perform cycle counts, inventory transactions, and stock audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to internal teams.
Maintain organized warehouse operations and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
0–5 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, logistics, or material coordination.
Experience with inventory control, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and inventory transactions.
Understanding of shipping procedures, freight carriers, and logistics coordination.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.
