SUMMARY
The Maintenance Supervisor position requires an individual who has demonstrated success in a fast-paced medium to heavy manufacturing environment. Responsibilities will include the safe direction of a small group of multi-trade employees that perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair, and install new equipment. This is a hands-on position and requires technical expertise in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), electrical pneumatics, mechanical drives, and hydraulics.
REports to the Maintenance Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises a group of multi-trade maintenance employees Provides technical direction to Maintenance Team to ensure that equipment and machines are maintained properly and working correctly. Analyzes equipment or machinery data failures and preventative maintenance program and takes corrective action. Provides technical training to management and Multi-Trade team members. Reviews electrical maintenance schematics to As-Built Equipment verifying safety systems. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules. Must be able to improve Maintenance processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency. Must prepare and present plans for the above and coordinate deployment, including training of Multi-Trade team members. Must be able to assist Maintenance Manager in improving the Maintenance Inventory System, including cost controls. Lead or participate on committee teams as directed by Maintenance Manager.
