This position oversees all maintenance activities on the property, including inspection, training, supervision, and scheduling.
Requires extensive HVAC and appliance repair experience.
- Manages tool and supply inventory, purchases, and maintenance.
Inspects common areas and rooms for repairs and completed work.
Establishes daily and project-specific work schedules for maintenance staff.
Enforces safety policies and trains maintenance personnel.
Facilitates communication within the department and with other resort departments.
Assists staff with projects and maintains maintenance logs and records.
Coordinates maintenance tasks to minimize guest disruption.
Determines whether jobs are done in-house or via outside vendors; supervises contractors.
Handles hiring, discipline, and motivation of maintenance staff.
Creates work schedules for various property systems and inspections.
Collaborates with the General Manager on project priorities and property inspections.
Ensures preventive maintenance and repairs of all equipment, maintaining the property's overall condition.
