Required Skills:
- Valid medical license and board certification in Urology
- Proven experience in adult and geriatric urology
- Expertise in ureteroscopy, laparoscopic surgeries, nephrectomy, and incontinence procedures
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
- Ability to handle ED & inpatient cases independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a 24-hour call shift confidently and professionally
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in trauma surgery (Level II designation)
- Familiarity with intraoperative ultrasound techniques
- Prior experience working in hospital-based surgical environments
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Fellowship or specialized training in Urology
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical Urology experience or equivalent
Other Requirements:
- Commitment to building a reliable locum coverage pool with availability for scheduled shifts
- Willingness to travel, with reimbursements provided for flights, hotels, rental cars, and mileage
- Credentialing process approximately 60 days; timely submission of documents is essential
