Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Payment Processing Specialist to manage daily remittance operations in a high-volume environment. This role involves manual and automated sorting of physical mail, precise matching of payments to invoices, and preparing financial documents for scanning. The position requires strict adherence to processing deadlines and quality standards set by our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manually extract payments from envelopes and match them with corresponding invoice information.
- Operate automated mail processing equipment such as the Opex 5051 extractor.
- Scan and prepare payment information ensuring all images and reports are legible.
- Perform high-standard data entry with emphasis on accuracy and speed.
- Ensure re-association, packaging, and mailing of processed remittances as per client requirements.
- Proficiency in handling and processing physical mail.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Strong basic computer and data entry skills.
Minimum 1 year of experience in banking, payment, or accounts receivable processing preferred.
