Summary:

Goldbelt Apex is hiring a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Administrator/Crystal Reports Writer to create and/or automate and/or increase the efficiency of existing Crystal Reports through data consolidation and data analysis.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform Application Administration functions to include:
    • User Account Management
    • Troubleshooting and resolving user and system issues using SQL
  • Write Crystal Reports queries, views and/or stored procedures to extract data from SQL Server Validate Crystal Reports to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Monitor performance of Crystal Reports and take the corrective action necessary to optimize or improve the performance of the reports when necessary
  • Develop and maintain a variety of Crystal Report types, including but not limited to:
    • Tabular Drill down Matrix Charts Support the generation of standard Crystal Reports as well as ad hoc queries Develop and prepare technical Public Health Reports,
    • business process documentation,
    • oral reports, charts, tables and/or professional quality presentations, as required
Qualifications:

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills Critical Thinking – Use logic and reasoning to identify
  • Time Management – Able to manage one’s own time Strong interpersonal skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years demonstrated Crystal Report Writing Experience supporting a Laboratory, preferably in the Public Health business
  • Demonstrated experience working in relational databases helpdesk support
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Products
  • Must have at least 3 years of StarLIMS experience (preferred Public Health experience)Must be able to obtain a current Public Trust clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualification:

  • College degree
  • SQL Server certification

 

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000 annually.
