Overview

Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a Learning Enablement & Career Pathways Manager to join their team. The Learning Enablement & Career Pathways Manager translates talent strategy into operational excellence by establishing standards, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and overseeing teams, systems, and processes that support compliant learning, career development, and employee navigation of education and growth opportunities across PHS.

 

This is a full-time position that is expected to work on-site for a minimum of 30 days during onboarding. Following this period, eligibility for hybrid work may be evaluated.

 

This position reports to the Director of Workforce Development & Immigration and supervises and manages a team of individuals working in the areas of learning and development.

Responsibilities

The Learning Enablement & Career Pathways Manager leads the execution and integration of PHS University’s learning ecosystem and Career Pathways & Mobility framework in alignment with organizational talent strategy. This role ensures learning, required education, education assistance, instructional design, and career development practices are scalable, consistently applied, and clearly connected to employee growth, workforce readiness, and internal mobility.

 

Key Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

  • Lead operational execution of PHS University’s Learning Ecosystem integrating decentralized functional learning and ensuring alignment with organizational goals, values, and brand standards.
  • Establish and maintain organizational learning and career pathway standards, ensuring consistent application of approved frameworks, templates, and practices across PHS University while allowing for appropriate functional customization.
  • Serve as the organizational decision maker for the learning management system (LMS) within PHS University, establishing governance, priorities, and standards for system use while delegating day-to-day functional administration to the Sr. Instructional Designer and partnering with HRIS/HRAS as technical platform owners.
  • Lead education and training specialists in the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field (master's preferred).
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in learning, talent development, career development, or related HR functions.
  • Experience partnering with Clinical Education and/or Quality teams in a regulated senior living environment (e.g., assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing) to implement and track required education.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish governance and maintain audit-ready tracking and reporting for required education (e.g., assignment rules, completion reporting, exception management) in a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams overseeing complex learning, talent, or workforce development programs across multiple stakeholders and functional areas.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodology, and career development frameworks, including their application in regulated or operationally complex environments.
  • Proven ability to operationalize strategy, establish priorities, and drive execution across multiple concurrent initiatives with strong attention to quality, consistency, and results.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence, align, and build credibility across leaders, partners, and teams throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS’ mission and operating philosophies.

Pay Range

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $91,784 to $101,982 per year. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
