This position is for a Foreign Language Interpreter/Translator, providing interpretation and translation services to support district and school needs on an as-needed/per diem basis. Responsibilities include interpreting spoken and written language between English and languages such as Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, and others, facilitating communication during meetings, translating educational materials, and assisting families and visitors. Candidates must have a high school diploma, at least one year of experience with multicultural clients, and be fluent in English and at least one target language. Clearances for child abuse, criminal history, and FBI fingerprints are required, obtained during onboarding. The pay rate is $18.56 per hour as an independent contractor.
