Are you the kind of IT professional who likes to be close to the business, trusted by users, and relied on when things really matter?

As an IT Technician, you are the backbone of the site’s IT environment—keeping systems running smoothly, users productive, and security front and center. You combine hands-on technical work with coordination and influence, acting as the key local link between the site, Group IT in Sweden, and external partners.

In this role, you won’t just “keep the lights on.” You’ll help ensure that IT, information security, and business continuity are implemented effectively at the site, making sure global standards work in real-world operations. You’ll also support TISAX-related activities, contributing technical expertise and coordination in close collaboration with site management and the ISMS organization.

If you enjoy ownership, collaboration in an international setup, and a role where your work has a visible, day-to-day impact—this is an opportunity to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

1. Local IT Operations & User Support

  • Ensure stable, secure day-to-day operation of local IT infrastructure, endpoints, and user environments in line with Group IT standards

  • Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 support, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues for local users

  • Coordinate user onboarding and offboarding with Group IT

  • Support local networks, printers, shopfloor systems, and peripheral devices

  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and local documentation

2. Information Security & TISAX Support (Technical & Coordinating Role)

  • Support the implementation of technical information security controls defined by ISMS, risk assessments, and Group IT standards

  • Contribute as a technical subject-matter expert in risk assessments and business continuity activities

  • Prepare, collect, and maintain technical evidence for TISAX and related audits

  • Support investigation, documentation, and escalation of information security incidents

  • Ensure local technical practices align with security policies and requirements

(Formal information security ownership and compliance governance remain with site management and the ISMS structure.)

3. Collaboration with Group IT (Sweden)

  • Work closely with Group IT, who operate centrally managed systems and services

  • Act as the local point of contact for:

    • IT incidents and service disruptions

    • System changes, upgrades, and improvements

    • Testing, validation, and rollout of new or updated solutions

  • Translate local operational needs into clear requirements for Group IT

  • Participate in coordination meetings and follow-ups

You represent the local business perspective toward Group IT as an internal service provider.

4. Vendor & Supplier Coordination

  • Support coordination with external IT suppliers, SaaS providers, and local service partners

  • Assist in defining, communicating, and following up on IT and information security requirements

  • Support supplier assessments related to security and business continuity

  • Assist during supplier-related incidents or service disruptions

5. Change & Project Support

  • Contribute to local IT projects, system implementations, and technology rollouts

  • Support change management activities with a focus on security and continuity

  • Participate in testing and validation before systems go live

6. Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain local technical documentation, procedures, and work instructions

  • Support initiatives that improve IT stability, security, and efficiency

  • Proactively identify risks, improvement opportunities, and areas for optimization

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in IT systems administration, infrastructure support, or a similar technical role

  • Experience working in centrally managed or outsourced IT environments

  • Solid understanding of information security principles (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability)

  • Experience with frameworks such as TISAX, ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS is a strong advantage

  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience is beneficial
